Communication Release
This year the Catholic Schools of the Paterson Diocese are beginning the exciting process of diocesan accreditation through AdvancED. Since this is a diocesan system of growth, we will work together to discover our areas of strength and areas of opportunity for growth in a collaborative atmosphere. This process will continue through 2012 and will include all stakeholders in Catholic school education for the diocese of Paterson.
Advanced Ed is a nationally recognized institution for accreditation and is used by many school districts and Catholic dioceses throughout the United States and the world. The AdvancED global mark of quality is reflected in their endless pursuit of excellence in education. It is a commitment to continuous school improvement and is reflected in the global accreditation system. AdvancEd provides a national and international voice to inform and influence education policy and practice on issues related to education quality.
In a collegial effort, the principals of the Catholic Schools of the Paterson Diocese are driving this accreditation process. The AdvanEd protocol is based on the four improvement process elements:
Vision—what future are we pursuing?
Profile—what is our current reality?
Plan and Implementation—what actions will we take to improve?
Results—what have we accomplished?
Our commitment to AdvancED reflects our commitment to the children of the Paterson Diocese.
